In this lesson, we are going to continue preparing you for the recruitment process and we are goingto focus on writing a covering/cover letter. First of all, we are going to find out how much you know about covering letters, we are then going to focus on creating a covering letter paying particular attention to the structure and phrases needed. Hopefully by the end of the lesson, Will be ready to create your own cover letter for dream position.

The Structure of a Covering Letter
Covering letters are extremely important. You need to think carefully about what you write and how you write it. A well written covering letter can help you get the job! A badly written covering letter can lose you the job!
We are now going to focus on how to structure a covering letter.
- Ideally, a covering letter should have four paragraphs.
A. Before you look at the model covering letter, what key information do you think should be induded in a covering letter? (own answer)
Here's a model covering letter. Check to see if you were correct.
B. Here is an outline of the content of each paragraph but the paragraphs are in the wrong order. Put the paragraphs into the correct order.

E. Let´s start paragraph by paragraph. Here are some questions that you need to answer for each paragraph. Remeber to use the important covering letter phrases that we previosly identified. Also, inlcude your own strenths and past work experience.
