TWIN TOWERS EXPLOSION (Nov., 1998, New York)
Before I went back (volver) home, I heard a bomb go off (explotar). I was going out (salir) with my girlfriend at the time. We were going over (repasar) old times. We were just about to go into (entrar) a shop. In fact, we were going up (subir) to the door of the shop. After the explosion, my girlfriend wanted to leave (marcharse), but there were some cops in the street who had gone on strike (ir a la huelga). They told us to continue walking (continuar) or at least to leave/go out of (salir fuera) the area.
