Today I’m going to talk to you about a course that I attended last month at Kings Oak College. It was an art course for beginners, and the tutor Michelle Lewis is excellent. She’s a former artist which is really helpful. In the class there are a maximum of 8 students and so she has time to help everyone.
Each class starts with a short talk. The aim of the talk is to help the students relax, as often everyone is a little anxious or worried about what they are doing that day. During the course, you learn not only how to draw but also paint. You learn different styles from classic to modern art.
During the course, you stay in this lovely hotel in double rooms. I have to admit the room was really big and it had a beautiful view of the nearby park.
Included in the price of the course are all meals and I must say that the food was really good. I particularly enjoyed the lunch at the college as they have a wide range of salads. They also serve soups and sandwiches.
If you’re interested in attending the course, there’s going to be another one very soon on Thursday 15th June. I would advise you to sign up as soon as possible as spaces are limited.
