How can I be sure?
I shall not demonstrate my almightiness to a mortal girl...
What’s mortal? And why won’t you prove yourself? Then maybe you aren’t God.
I shan’t, because I am bigger than demonstrations and proofs. You need faith, young one. Thou shall not have other gods before me.
I don’t, but then I can say I am God and my parents will believe me. I mean, If I must trust you, then you must have faith in me, young one.
Your parents will not have faith in you, and I am nothing but young. I am time and oldness and newness itself.
We shall not believe in you, unless you prove yourself. And how can you be all that at the same time?

Yes. But if you need proof of my almightiness, then so be it. I shall wake you up in a few moments.
But I don’t want to wake up. I like dreaming, and tomorrow I’ve got school. I won’t wake up and you can’t make me.
You will wake up now and you will leave me alone. For I sleep too.

¿Qué es mortal? ¿Y por qué no te vas a justificar? Entonces quizá no eres Dios.
No he de, porque soy más grande que pruebas y demostraciones. Tienes que tener fe, jovencita. No has de tener otros además de mí.
No, pero entonces puedo decir que yo soy Dios y mis padres me deberían creer. Quiero decir, si debo creer en ti, entonces debes tener tú fe en mí.
Tus padres no van a tener fe en ti, y yo no tengo nada de joven. Yo soy tiempo y vejez y juventud en sí misma.
No hemos de creer en ti hasta que te pruebes. ¿Y cómo puedes ser todo eso a la vez?
Porque soy Dios.

Sí. Pero si necesitas prueba de mi omnipotencia, que así sea. He de despertarte en unos momentos.
Pero no quiero despertarme. Me gusta soñar, y mañana tengo colegio. No voy a despertarme y no puedes obligarme.
Te vas a despertar ahora, y me dejarás solo. Yo también duermo.
